It is impossible to imagine a country or garden plot without a wash basin: there you can wash your hands after all kinds of garden work, rinse vegetables and fruits, and wash yourself, etc. At the same time, the washbasin can be not only a functional part, but also decorative, decorating a summer cottage. On sale, especially for use in the country, there are several types of washbasins. In addition, such a simple construction can be done with your own hands, because by the summer cottage washstand, standing on the street, they mean the simplest device without connecting to the water supply.

Ready-made washbasins for summer cottages

On sale you can find ready-made washbasins for summer cottages, and they may have a slightly different look, and not only the design, but also the installation method can be different. All similar designs divided into washbasins without a curbstone and washbasins with a curbstone. The former are much more mobile, can be installed anywhere, but the latter are more functional and are very reminiscent of the washbasins that are in our bathrooms.

The latter reminds us of faucets in ordinary washbasins and sinks, but it is considered more convenient and ergonomic to press for the conditions of the summer residence: it is worth lightly pressing it, as it is magnetized, and the water flows quietly. When your hands are washed, you need to slightly pull the tap down to stop the flow of water. Such containers can also be installed anywhere, and often they are even placed on the stands, and manually replenished water supplies;
• washbasins oval galvanized steel. The washbasin itself is equipped with a valve, and is considered not as durable as its plastic counterpart. Below, under the tap, washbasins of this type are equipped with a small bowl, which serves to accumulate water, and can also be used to wash vegetables and fruits;
• stand washbasin - A great find for all summer residents, especially for those who have long thought how to install a wash basin closer to the beds. This design is equipped with a special stand, at the bottom of which there is a crossbar: if you press it, the legs are driven into the ground, thereby fixing the washbasin in any place, even where there are no supports such as wood, walls and other things. It can also serve as an additional washbasin if it is not installed near the house, but directly where some work is being done: as a result, you don’t have to constantly run through the entire area, and you can wash your hands without going far.Such a washbasin is very easy to move from place to place, and at the same time it remains as functional as the rest of the species.

This type of washbasin is easier to attribute to stationary than to mobile: they are difficult to move from place to place, but they have other advantages that are typical for stationary models. These designs can be used to place towels, soap and other hygiene items on them, which is very convenient, and with a certain approach you can get a stylish design that will decorate the site.

These designs are often called "moydodyr", and they consist of a tank with a tap, stands, sinks. Tank volume fluctuates from 12 and 32 liters, which makes the design convenient and functional. To such wash basins simply connect the water heating system or even the water supply from the water supply.

Due to the fact that in such washbasins there is a metal or plastic sink, it becomes more convenient to use them: you can put a bowl of fruit and calmly wash them without fear that something will fall. Such structures can also be installed inside the country house, then you can pay attention to wooden and plastic cabinets, which are more afraid of the influence of the external environment. If the washstand is on the street, then the water in the tank under the influence of sunlight will heat itself, but it is better to provide heating in the room.

Of course, in the summer, few people think about heating the water in the wash basin, but with the onset of autumn, washing your hands and washing with ice water becomes unpleasant. Heating systems can be completely different, but in any case, somewhere nearby you will need a power outlet. The most advanced systems will be able to heat water to a clearly set temperature, and such washbasins will become indispensable not only in the area itself, but also in the country house, if water is not supplied there.

Do-it-yourself wash basin

Many summer residents advise do not spend money on the purchase of a finished model, because the simplest and not quite models of washbasins can be made with your own hands. And now we will look at the most popular ways to do this.

The easiest way - use as a washbasin plastic bottle volume from 2 to 5 liters. Even a schoolboy can cope, and at the same time the washbasin will be functional. You will need a plastic container, and transparent plastic will also be convenient because you can always control the amount of remaining water. The bottom of such a bottle is cut off, but may not cut it off completely, creating a semblance of a cap that will protect against insects and debris. Next, by the neck or bottom of the bottle, we attach it to a specific support. Now it remains only to resolve the issue with the crane. In the simplest version, a conventional cover is used, which, if necessary, wash your hands slightly unscrewed so that water flows, and then screwed back. You can use the dispenser caps, which are usually supplied with bottles of water for athletes. You can supplement the design with a pressure nozzle, which completely brings the washbasin to the finished structures attached to the stores.You will need a screw or nail, which in the usual form with a hat will cover the hole, and when you click on it, open it by letting water through. But in this case, with a sharp end, you need to do something so that it does not hurt when used. Such quick home-made washbasins are used mainly in uninhabited summer cottages, but they will be suitable in other cases.

More advanced washbasin can be made of a plastic canister, a small barrel or even a bucket, but any other container that can withstand a certain amount of water will do. In addition, it is worth getting a crane, drive, nuts and two gaskets. A hole of the required diameter is made in the tank, a flare is installed there, and gaskets are put on both sides, clamped with nuts, and only then they proceed to install the crane. All these operations do not take much time, but in the end we get a functional device that is not much inferior to purchased plastic tanks. To collect the waste water, you can use a bucket, or run a drain into the cesspool. You can simply cover the ground under the washbasin with gravel - this is natural drainage, which will ensure cleanliness in the area and the absence of constant dirt.

By the way, the method described above is also used for arrangement of a summer shower in the country, only much more capacious containers are already used here. If at the same time equip a cabinet for them and put a sink, then we get a decent wash basin, which will provide maximum functionality. Probably, it is unnecessary to say that the cottage is the accumulator of all old and unnecessary things from the house, therefore, as a sink, you can take the one that used to be in the apartment, but is now not used, but still has a pretty decent look.

Some craftsmen use at their dachas very interesting type of washbasins. So, there is a foot, an almost non-contact way to “get” water: a container of water is located on the ground, connected by a hose to a tap and a pear, and when you press the last water, it pours out through the tap under pressure.

If all such home-made tanks are supplemented with a home-made cabinet assembled from boards and sheets of plywood, then in the end we get full washbasin. If, however, it is painted and decorated a little, then in the end we get stylish element landscape design.
